Britney Spears’ new love Jason Trawick has been credited with helping the troubled star get her life back on track. A source say although Trawick and Spears only recently went public with their romance, the talent agent has been helping her for a while. “Jason was deeply saddened when she lost it and he made it his personal mission to see she comes back. It was Jason who was one of the key figures who helped Britney to reunite with her parents and, in turn, get herself back on track,” says the source.

Britney Spears‘ aunt has said the singer is definitely on back on track these days and her family are delighted at the progress.

Under dad Jamie Spears’ supervision over the past three months, Britney is said to have gone from strength to strength after accepting medical help following a brief hospitalisation at the start of February.

Her aunt Chanda McGovern said before the conservatorship was put in place at the start of February: “We didn’t know if she’d make it through the next day and we’re all very proud of her now.

“This time last year everyone was in turmoil.

“I hope she’ll never walk down that path again and I think she’s got a bright future.”

She added that she believes a lot of Britney’s problems stem from the fact she’s “very headstrong and doesn’t like being told what to do” but now is a lot more willing to accept help.

Britney’s second cameo on How I Met Your Mother is scheduled to air in the US this week.

Britney Spears was involved in a car accident Saturday night in Los Angeles, and cops administered a field sobriety test to see if she was drunk.

Spears was driving onto the freeway at just before 8:30pm when she whacked a 2006 Nissan in the rear which in return smacked into the car it was following.

According to the police report, Spears “attempted to brake but failed to stop her vehicle.”
The Nissan was “pushed forward into another older model vehicle.”
Spears was given a field sobriety test, and guess what - SHE PASSED! got a 65

Additionally, no injuries have been reported!

Since making an appearance on the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ Britney Spears has been contemplating several offers for her own series. Her father Jamie Spears, who is temporary co-conservator of Spears’ estate, is considering allowing the pop star to accept one of the offers.

A source claims that Jamie “wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble.” Jamie reportedly thinks his daughter getting her own sitcom maybe a good idea.

 He is allegedly “exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show.”

Loopy Lindsay Lohan’s career has taken a further nose dive as her latest film Chapter 27 has been slammed by critics, whilst Britney Spears seems to have made a major u-turn back to normality. We give it a week.

Lohan’s latest movie disaster coincides nicely with the appearance of a sex tape featuring the lovely Lindsay performing a sex act on ‘man slag’, ex beau and all round shag monster Calum Best. Lohan has told mates she doesn’t remember it being filmed but given it was filmed last year pre-rehab that doesn’t really say much, plus the performance is very ‘Lohan’ in that it appears a piece of wood was placed in a bedroom and told to, er, get familiar with another bit of wood.

What this space as she moves onto number 5 then 6 on list ‘Driving under the influence with strange white powder in glove box’ and then ‘Carted off to rehab by agent and concerned friends.’

So whilst Lohan loses it, things are looking good in Britney camp. The once bonkers star has finally returned to work – fully clothed, including bra and hair - and made a cameo appearance in ‘How I met your Mother’. Her performance pulled in an extra three million viewers and went down a treat with the critics, the New York Times said:”Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing.” Given that she played a ditzy receptionist I’m not sure how much acting was required but good on ya anyways Britters.
