Since making an appearance on the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ Britney Spears has been contemplating several offers for her own series. Her father Jamie Spears, who is temporary co-conservator of Spears’ estate, is considering allowing the pop star to accept one of the offers.

A source claims that Jamie “wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble.” Jamie reportedly thinks his daughter getting her own sitcom maybe a good idea.

 He is allegedly “exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show.”

Loopy Lindsay Lohan’s career has taken a further nose dive as her latest film Chapter 27 has been slammed by critics, whilst Britney Spears seems to have made a major u-turn back to normality. We give it a week.

What does any self respecting desperado do when their career hits the shit??? Well, like many others before her *cough* Paris. Cue, doggy sex tape somehow finding its way onto the internet without any knowledge of the main characters.

Lohan’s latest movie disaster coincides nicely with the appearance of a sex tape featuring the lovely Lindsay performing a sex act on ‘man slag’, ex beau and all round shag monster Calum Best. Apparently Mr ‘Been Around The block’ Best filmed the act on his phone, sent it to a friend who then nearly a year down the line and totally out of the blue decided to put it on the net.

A claim denied by Calum’s people; “Sorry to disappoint you, but it’s not Calum on the tape”. Silly us of course it isn’t, a simple BJ is far too innocent for Calum. We all know he allegedly prefers cocaine fueled romps with prostitutes / trannies / Rebecca Loos ie. anyone with a pulse.

Lohan has told mates she doesn’t remember it being filmed but given it was filmed last year pre-rehab that doesn’t really say much, plus the performance is very ‘Lohan’ in that it appears a piece of wood was placed in a bedroom and told to, er, get familiar with another bit of wood.

In habitual routine the publicity whore Lindsey is working her way through the LA check list nicely.

Lohan is currently up to number 4 ‘fall off wagon’ and was spotted at old haunt Club Villa looking somewhat weird and wired - we’re presuming that’s not from sipping mineral water all night.

What this space as she moves onto number 5 then 6 on list ‘Driving under the influence with strange white powder in glove box’ and then ‘Carted off to rehab by agent and concerned friends.’

So whilst Lohan loses it, things are looking good in Britney camp. The once bonkers star has finally returned to work – fully clothed, including bra and hair - and made a cameo appearance in ‘How I met your Mother’. Her performance pulled in an extra three million viewers and went down a treat with the critics, the New York Times said:”Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing.” Given that she played a ditzy receptionist I’m not sure how much acting was required but good on ya anyways Britters.

Although many of us thought that troubled Britney Spears would never win another award, she has just been presented with a prize commemorating her ‘Lifetime Achievement.’ However, the accolade isn’t quite as impressive as it sounds; the award was a ‘Skinnies’ gong, presented by a skincare expert to raise awareness of her problem skin.

Britney Spears has been plagued by spotty skin throughout her long career. It began as adolescent acne during her time as a Mouseketeer on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club, before her troubled twenties gave her a “tendency to adult acne.” Although Spears’ current mental problems are arguably more severe than her bad skin, many dermatologists still believe that the star should seek treatment.

Perhaps Spears should take a leaf out of Will Smith’s book? The formally spotty Men in Black star was also commended at the Skinnies, which named him as an ‘Action-packed Acne Survivor’ for the clear skin he sported in the blockbuster, I Am Legend. Judges praised Smith for beating his adult acne, they said: “Smith appears to have found an effective treatment for his condition… he is this year’s acne survivor.”

The Skinnies are held every January to honour “epidermal excellence in entertainment.” Nicholas Cage’s noticeably fuller hairline won the ‘Back in Theatres’ award with judges suggesting that the star may have benefited from hair restoration treatment. A ‘Sun Protected Princess’ award was given to Amy Adams for her porcelain skin in Disney’s Enchanted, which caused judges to surmise, “to appear this wrinkle and freckle-free in her 30’s confirms a lifelong devotion to sun protection.”

Kid Rock was slapping waffles down on fans’ plates earlier this month as part of a charity benefit, but now he’s on the receiving end of some slapping thanks to a lawsuit filed against him last Friday.

Kid Rock, AKA Robert Ritchie, is being sued by Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez, who claim he caused them personal injury and “exemplary” personal damages according to the lawsuit obtained by Access Hollywood.

In the paperwork, the three men claim they were waiting outside of Teddy’s Nightclub at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel early on the morning of March 22, 2006. The celebrity autograph collectors claim they were “assaulted and battered” by Kid as well as members of the Boo Yaa Tribe, who are also named as plaintiffs in the suit.

They also alleged that Medlin was kicked and “left on the ground seriously injured as Kid Rock and his entourage drove off,” the suit reads.

The Roosevelt and Teddy’s are both named in the suit as the defendants claim they “operated their (sic) permises so as to allow plaintiffs to be attacked and severely beaten.”

The plaintiffs claim Kid Rock and the Boo Yaa Tribe stole their cameras, bags and “other personal items in their hands.”

Lost Highway Touring is also named as a defendant in the suit.

The plaintiffs additionally claim that as a result of the reported incident, they “did and do to this day, suffer extreme emotional distress, humiliation and mental anguish.”

They are seeking an amount in unlimited excess of $15 million.

A rep for Kid Rock was not immediately available for comment at press time.

Amy Winehouse’s dad is worried about his famous daughter’s self-harming. Mitch Winehouse had discovered the numerous cuts on the “Rehab” singer’s arms earlier this week when her pictures surfaced on the Internet, and he wasn’t too happy when he asked Amy about the cuts.

Mitch confronted the 24-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist but she was evasive about the cuts and refused to discuss it.

The dad says, “I saw the cuts and told Amy that her arm didn’t look good. But she just said, ‘It’s nothing.’ Amy is not as responsive as we would like. It is worrying. It’s a very painful situation.”

Meanwhile, Amy is said to be suffering from “black moods” while her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is still incarcerated in London’s Pentonville Prison awaiting his trial on perverting the course of justice and assault.

She reportedly went to visit Blake but she was refused entry.

A source says, “Amy has been getting in black moods over Blake. Blake was really annoyed she couldn’t visit him and is getting increasingly paranoid about her.”
