Trouble magnet Lindsay Lohan has once again found herself attracting, uh, trouble — this time in the form of a lawsuit.

The actress is being sued by the three men who were in the SUV she drove during a 2007 car chase that resulted in her subsequent DUI arrest, People reports.

Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro are suing Lohan for unspecified damages in the case.

The plaintiffs have said that Lilo was “angry and aggressive” and that they “felt surprise, shock, fear and panic” when she allegedly commandeered the SUV in which they happened to be sitting to chase her personal assistant through the streets of Santa Monica, Calif.

“Dante and Jakon continued to implore Lohan to slow down, stating specifically that she was endangering all of their lives and that they could be killed,” People quotes the lawsuit as saying. “Lohan refused to slow or stop, but instead responded with abusive cursing and vulgar language, including a statement that she did not care about the risk of death.”

But the best part, according to the lawsuit, is this: “She also stated that because she was a celebrity she could do whatever she wants.”

Of course, where would a Lindsay Lohan-related scandal be without its instantaneous and ubiquitous rebuttal from a member of her legal and/or publicity corps?

Ed McPherson, Lohan’s attorney, chimed in to TMZ, saying, “These guys had the night of their lives, playing with the radio and leaving the vehicle at one point and getting back in.”

After being arrested, Lohan worked out a deal and spent 84 minutes in jail proving her original statement that, as a celebrity, she really could do whatever she wants.

Britney Spears said she plans to make her first international tour since 2004 to support her highly anticipated new album, “Circus.”

In an interview broadcast on Monday by New York radio station Z100, Spears was asked if she planned to tour.

“Oh definitely, next year,” she said, adding the tour would probably take her “around the world.”

That would mark her first major concert tour since 2004.

Last year, Spears performed in a handful of club shows in Southern California under the name the M+M’s but did not go on the road to promote her last album, “Blackout,” which had a good chart debut in November 2007 but faded quickly.

After more than a year of making headlines for shaving her head, attacking paparazzi with an umbrella and two admissions to psychiatric hospital units, Spears, 26, is preparing for a comeback.

Her last live public performance was a much-ridiculed rendition of “Gimme More” at the MTV Video Music Awards a year ago.

The singer’s latest single, “Womanizer,” was released on Friday and is the first single off “Circus,” which will be released on December 2 — her 27th birthday. She told Z100 she spent six months working on the album

Simon Cowell has confirmed Britney Spears will appear on his British talent show “The X-Factor,” admitting she’s the “number one booking in the world.”

Spears will perform on the show to promote her comeback album “Circus” and the music mogul, who has always been a big fan of Spears, can’t wait.

He says, “We have the number one show in England. It’s the best show for her to perform on. We’re absolutely thrilled to have her.

“Everyone wants to work with her because she’s a star. She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show. … The fact that she goes a bit crazy occasionally makes her more interesting.

“And, if she wants to shave her head before she comes on the show, she’s welcome to. I don’t care.”

Britney Spears, Kevin Federline set for custody trial

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s custody dispute looks set to head to trial in August after the couple failed to reach agreement in mediation, it was reported on Friday.

Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told the E! Online website that although day-long talks between lawyers for the two sides were positive, no settlement was reached and a trial was likely on August 25.

“The mediation didn’t result in an agreement that would avoid the trial … The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue, which is necessary,” Kaplan said.

Kaplan said Federline, 30, wants to retain sole legal and physical custody of the couple’s two young children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, while allowing Spears, 26, visitation rights.

“Kevin is seeking to maintain the sole legal and physical custody that he presently has,” Kaplan said. “Kevin has had sole legal custody since January. He wants that to become the permanent order at trial, and the visitation to be consistent with what the court expanded it to this week.”

A court this week granted Spears overnight visitation with the children in addition to two day visits per week.

Spears’ visitation rights were severely restricted earlier this year amid spiraling personal problems and fears for the singer’s mental health.

However, the pop star has appeared to have been getting her life back on track in recent months, after she was twice rushed to hospital earlier this year for treatment in a psychiatric unit.

Spears, one of the most successful pop stars of her generation, has been locked in the custody saga with Federline since the couple split in 2006.

Her access to her children was restricted last October after she failed to submit to random drug testing as demanded at an earlier hearing where the court ruled she was a “habitual and continuous drug user.”

Spears shot to superstardom in late 1998 with her smash-hit debut album “Baby One More Time,” which she followed with another chart-topping success the following year, “Oops! … I Did It Again.”

Dina Lohan explains it all

Dina Lohan is a showbiz mom tired of being trashed in tabloids, and she’s out to set the record straight — using a reality show on E! to do so. USA TODAY caught up with her ahead of her new show.

Living Lohan premieres Monday (10:30 p.m. ET/PT); the remaining eight episodes move to regular time slot: Sundays, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT

Premise: Dina Lohan does double duty as a mom and manager to help daughter Ali, 14, follow in the footsteps of her famous big sister Lindsay, 21, and pursue her own shot at stardom. Mom also keeps track of two sons, Cody, 11, and Michael, 20, a college student. “I don’t just want to do this because of who my sister is,” Ali says. “I want to do it because I love to do it.”

‘IT’S COMPLICATED’: Denise Richards has a show, too

Other players: Maternal grandmother “Nana” and five dogs. Lindsay’s presence will be felt, but it’s not known whether she will appear.

FIND MORE STORIES IN: Internet | Las Vegas | World War II | YouTube | Long Island | Hunter | Ali | Lindsay | Cody | New York State | AmerisourceBergen Corp. | Dina | Maloofs | Palms Casino Resort | Maternal

Location: Mostly the family’s Long Island home but also Las Vegas’ The Palms Casino Resort, owned by the Maloofs, who are co-producers of the show and own a record label that recently signed Ali to her first recording contract.

Subjects to discuss: Lindsay’s sex tape, Dina’s battles to protect her brood against erroneous Internet stories and the tabloids.

Dina on dealing with the tabloids: ”Keep it in perspective and not let it consume you. It is hurtful, especially when they are just complete lies. We’ve had so many things written about us that were so untrue. … (With the show), we have kind of the power now in our hands to set the record straight.”

Dina on juggling it all: ”We all do. One of my dear friends is a realtor and her husband works for ABC, and they have four children. We’re carpooling. No matter what field you’re in, it’s tough, and you make it work because they’re your children and you’re a parent and have a responsibility to do that.”

Dina to parents of wannabe showbiz kids: ”It’s dangerous. There’s just so much more accessibility to YouTube and the Internet. I think you just have to teach them to be very careful, to be morally correct and good people and be honest.”

Dina on her own mother: ”She’s brilliant. She inspires me. She came from an Italian immigrant family and graduated magna cum laude from Hunter waaay back then. Just seeing what they went through. My dad was in World War II at 17, and just the adversity they had to deal with. The tabloids are kind of a joke to her.”

Dina’s response to critics who say she’s exploiting her kids: ”That’s so silly. I have four children. My boys want nothing to do with this. Well, Cody got dragged into this, unfortunately. My son is on an academic scholarship in college and plays lacrosse. My little guy is on New York State soccer. I have sole custody of my children. That in its own right — you have to work. I do have to pay my mortgage. I’m all they have. If I were a lawyer, I would be practicing law right now. Fortunately or unfortunately, I was in entertainment, and this is what I do. I’m working.”
