Lindsay Lohan has launched a scathing attack on her father Michael, branding him a “bully” and a “public embarrassment.”

Lohan has blasted her father in a post on her Myspace blog following a bitter war of words that began after Michael criticized the actress’ rumored girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, earlier this week.

Michael Lohan accused the DJ of using his daughter in a bid to raise her profile, and his comments provoked a furious reaction from Ronson and the star herself.

And now the star has threatened to disown her father, insisting she is sick of waiting for him to change his ways.

She writes, “It really hurts, because I have tried. I really tried to make things work. He is yet to change — but this time, without his daughter by his side.

“He has become a public embarrassment and a bully. To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me. His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an addiction that he has — FAME. If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.”

Lohan insists that recent rumors that Ronson was planning to write a book about their life together are totally unfounded. She adds, “Samantha has not and would never sell me out.”

Lindsay Lohan said Friday that police have no business getting involved in her personal life, a day after the police chief explained that the paparazzi were no longer an issue — in part because the 22-year-old actress had evidently “gone gay.”

“Police chiefs shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate,” Lohan said in a video shot by paparazzi Friday and posted on TMZ.com. In the footage, Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronson are trekking through the Los Angeles Airport on their way to catch a flight to Chicago.

The day before, Chief William Bratton said the paparazzi have become less of a problem thanks to Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lohan leading more moderate lifestyles.

“If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue,” he told KNBC-TV.

Bratton was speaking about his refusal to participate in a meeting held by elected officials Thursday that was called to discuss new laws to curb problem paparazzi.

He called Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine’s special session — which was attended by the likes of John Mayer, Eric Roberts and Milo Ventimiglia — “a complete waste of time.”

Bratton later called a news conference outside police headquarters to clarify his position on the paparazzi. When asked about the Lohan remark — which followed months of tabloid speculation that Lohan and Ronson, a DJ, are dating — Bratton said his sister is gay and he is a proponent of gay rights.

Looks like it, as several gossip websites are reporting Lindsay Lohan not only ‘enjoyed the company’ of Calum Best last summer - but also got it on tape!

According to reports, Calum is responsible for the leak of the video - he appearantly filmed himself having sex with Lindsay on his phone and then send the footage to friends.

If the clips prove to be genuine, this might be bad news for LiLo who spent the last few months trying to prove she is a credible actress and a good role model for girls.

In the film, she plays a young secretary who pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired by her mean boss, and then continues the pretense for nine months to enjoy the special treatment accorded to her by her friends and family on account of her pregnancy.
Lindsay Lohan, who rose to stardom with roles in films like Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded, wants to make a mark as an actress with an Oscar.
She recently opted not to have her guest appearance on the season 2 finale of ABC’s Ugly Betty considered for an Emmy award.
A representative for the actress revealed, “The appearance was brief. We made a decision to wait.”
Lindsay Lohan, who played an old schoolmate of America Ferrera’s character Betty Suarez in the show, will appear in five more episodes next season.
