Britney Spears - who hasn’t seen her two sons for more than three weeks after she refused to return them to ex-husband Kevin Federline - is forbidden from visiting her children indefinitely, meaning her only access to them is via phone calls.
According to recently released court documents, “Spears is to have telephonic contact with the minor children. All prior orders remain in full force and effect.”
Meanwhile, Britney’s manager and friend Sam Lufti has confirmed she has seen a psychiatrist for her “mental issues”.
Following a conversation with Lufti, “The View” host Barbara Walters said: “Britney is suffering from what Lufti describes as mental issues which are treatable. He said that she has been to a psychiatrist and that she, I assume, is starting some kind of treatment. She has been having mood swings. She’s been having trouble sleeping, and also she is in touch with her mother - because we had heard she wasn’t - and her mother has been very supportive of whatever Britney is going to do.”
Spears’ legal team are hoping her visitation rights will be reinstated if she undergoes psychiatric treatment for what they are calling bipolar disorder.
Britney and Lufti had a major fight last night after he told her she must see a psychiatrist and talk to her parents, as well as to stop seeing Adnan Ghalib, her photographer boyfriend. Britney’s parents - who were in Los Angeles visiting Britney’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James last night - arrived at her house at around 9:00 PM and waited outside the gates in their car. Britney refused to speak to them and left after Adnan collected her.

On arriving back to Britney’s LA house together, the singer broke down in tears on the kerb with Sam only briefly consoling her.
The star – already distraught at having access to her two sons to ex-husband limited to telephone access only – continued crying outside until being comforted by her dad, pregnant 16-year-old sister JAMIE LYNN [I don’t think she was there, I think the mag is confusing Jamie Lynn with father Jamie] and boyfriend ADNAN GHALIB.
In a further twist Adnan was banned from entering Britney’s house by security, on orders from Sam who also sent the snapper a text saying: “You’re a manic trigger. If you continue to have any contact, you’ll kill her. It’s your decision.”
Later, desperate to see her partner, Britney jumped into the car of a waiting paparazzo who gave her a lift to a meeting point where they then sped off together.

Adnan Ghalib, the on and off boyfriend of troubled pop superstar Britney Spears, has compared their relationship to Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, who died in a car crash Aug 31, 1997, in Paris.Ghalib had dared to speak of his relationship with Spears just after a month, though he’s not sure how long the relationship could last, thesun.co.uk reports.He said that there are similarities between Spears and the late Princess Diana. When the fact about media attention was mentioned as a similarity between Spears and Diana during the interview, Ghalib added, “Or dating an Arab”.

Southern California man convicted last year of hacking into the Lexis-Nexis owned consumer database Accurint was arrested on charges on extortion Friday after allegedly hijacking the MySpace account of an internet celebrity. Jeffrey Robert Weinberg, 22, was arrested by LAPD detectives in Southern California early Friday morning, a department spokeswoman confirmed. While police aren’t discussing the particulars, the arrest follows a detailed blog post by “Amor Hilton” an 18-year-old Los Angeles woman who says she helped detectives build a case against Weinberg after he hijacked her MySpace account and demanded nude photos and “phone sex” in exchange for its return. Hilton’s weekly live video show Bare Naked on the amateur streaming site Stickam, has made her an online celebrity of sorts. She named herself for fashion model Nicky Hilton, sister of heiress Paris Hilton. Weinberg was one of a gang of hackers who penetrated Paris Hilton’s cell phone account in 2005, theWashington Post reported last year.
According to her blog post, Hilton found herself locked out of her MySpace account on December 28th, the same day she began receiving harassing phone calls from a hacker calling himself “V.I.P.” — a handle used by Weinberg in the past. The calls continued over the course of several days, and often took a threatening tone, she says.
