It looks like Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson’s latest break-up might just be the real thing.

There was major drama in L.A. late Friday night at Bar Marmont, where Sam was DJ-ing at a party for her fashion designer sister, Charlotte Ronson’s I Heart Ronson clothing line for JCPenney. It all started when Lindsay tried to get into the party, only to be held back at the door by five bouncers!

Sources tell OK! the doormen were apparently under strict instructions from the Ronson family to look out for Lindsay and not to let her in under any circumstances.

The party officially ended at 11pm on Friday, but an hour later, Sam was still spinning records inside, while Charlotte, their brother Mark — whose band played an hour-long set at the event — and their mom, Ann Dexter Jones partied on.

Before Lindsay’s arrival at the event, an insider told OK! that the Ronsons had gone out of their way to insure she wouldn’t be able to get inside. “Unless Lindsay rams a truck through the red carpet or skydives in, she won’t be here,” revealed the source.

But just as expected, Linds still showed up, only to be “restrained from coming in by five security guards,” according to an onlooker.

“Lindsay knew she was unwanted, but came anyway, to no avail,” said another source.

Judging by her behavior inside the event, Sam was completely fine being in a No-Lohan zone. “She looked like she was in a great mood,” one witness tells OK!.

While LiLo couldn’t get beyond the guardians at the gate, other celebs, including Nicole Richie, Molly Sims, Sting and Jewel, had no problem getting into the event. Even Paris Hilton was welcome. The celebutante arrived around 10:15pm on the arm of her boy-toy Doug Reinhardt. “She really seemed to be glowing!” one partygoer tells OK!.

Celebuzz caught Lindsay Lohan getting her flirt on with Sean Penn? Interesting, too, at the little party L2 was having with Sean at Nobu was the fact that nearby in the chic joint was Eve, a one-time amiga, let’s call it, of Mr. Penn. Eve did not even speak to the Oscar winner—nor did Eve speak to Sean. Hmmm. Wonder if Lindsay and Sean will one day be frosty ex whatevers, too? I mean, what, exactly, is going on with Sean and Lindsay?

“All I know is that they have known each other since they made films in New Orleans,” answered Lohan’s famously outspoken press rep, Leslie Sloane. Rather eclipsed for the lusciously caustic repper. And even more clipped was Sloane’s answer when I asked whether or not Lindsay and her oft-battling babe, Samantha, were together. Silence. Now, that’s really saying something for the gal (all three of ‘em, actually.)

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson can add “exhaustion” to the list of things they have in common.

“I’m home and all good,” Ronson, 31, said in a MySpace Celebrity blog post on Monday after being released from a Los Angeles hospital.

LiLo’s gal pal visited Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday afternoon, mere hours after spinning tunes at Hollywood’s Ecco Ultra Lounge alongside her girlfriend.

“Was just pretty exhausted from traveling and working too much,” Ronson said, adding, “my Jewish mother was worried about me.”

Lohan, 22, has famously landed in the hospital several times for “exhaustion” - in 2004 and again in 2006 while filming “Herbie: Fully Loaded.”

She’s reportedly put her experience to good use for her girl. “Lindsay Lohan has been been helping her through this,” a pal told Life & Style magazine.

According to the mag, depression, lack of food and sleep were to blame for Ronson’s illness. The DJ says she’s now feeling “much better.”

Lindsay Lohan has been axed as the host of the World Music Awards 2008 and replaced by actree Denise Richards. Apparently organisers weren’t too confident in Lindsay’s ability to present the World Music Awards in Monaco next week.

Lindsay - who is reportedly engaged to her girlfriend Samantha Ronson - was said to have reacted badly when organisers booked ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Jesse Metcalfe to co-host the ceremony. A source said: “Lindsay was furious she wasn’t the main star. The organizers had gone through a list of who was hot at the moment and returned to Lindsay again.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has confirmed she has been dating Samantha Ronson for “a very long time”, according to US reports.

The 22-year-old former girlfriend of Calum Best has frequently been seen partying with Ronson (31), but has never publicly commented about the extent of their relationship until now.

Lohan told the US radio show Loveline that she had been dating the DJ, whose brother is Brit Award winner Mark Ronson, “for a very long time”.

DJ Ted Stryker interviewed Ronson while she took a break from working at TV Guide’s Emmy afterparty on Monday night in Los Angeles.

Ronson had been discussing her friendship with DJ AM and Travis Barker, who are recovering from severe burns following a plane crash in South Carolina last weekend, before putting Lohan on the phone.

Lohan’s publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik, who has previously denied the pair were going out, said Lohan was not engaged to be married.
