Lindsay Lohan looks set to announce she and Samantha Ronson are a couple again - after they flew home from the U.K. together.

The Just My Luck actress and DJ Ronson spent days avoiding photographers during their trip to London last week as rumours grew that the romance is back on.

But Lohan appears to have finally given up trying to keep the news secret - telling fans Ronson is her “favourite travel buddy” and hinting that an announcement is imminent.

The pair were spotted checking in at London’s Heathrow Airport for their flight to Los Angeles on Monday after days of giving snappers the runaround.

They arrived at the terminal separately, with Lohan hiding her face behind a blue folder as she headed inside. The pair then stood some distance apart as they waited at a check-in desk - with security men trying to foil attempts to photograph the couple.

But eventually Lohan realised their secret was out - and posted on her Twitter.com page as the pair waited for take-off, dropping a huge hint about their relationship.

She wrote, “Leaving London but with my favorite favorite!!!-travel buddy & great news to share!! Maybe….”

Lohan and Ronson are due to arrive back in L.A. later on Monday.

Lindsay and Samantha arrived in the UK separately and for different reasons, but they booked hotels on the same street. Earlier in the night, Samantha Twittered excitedly about watching Mark perform. She didn’t mention Lindsay, but judging from the number of nights the girls have been spending together back in LA and now with their London rendezvous, there’s a reason for Lindsay’s happy attitude.

In response to the rumor that Lindsay Lohan is pregnant, the sassy starlet simply laughed. E! quotes the red-headed spray-tan purveyor as saying, “Hahaha.” It was probably her uterus scoffing at the idea that an egg could survive in her emaciated womb.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson is enjoying life as a free woman, posing for fans at a DJ gig at Angels & Kings in Chicago Thursday night, something she never did when she was dating Lindsay.

A spy dished, “[Sam] was very friendly with all the lesbians there. When they hit on her, she flirted right back with them!” Sounds liks Sam’s single and ready to mingle.

Lindsay Lohan and Samanth Ronson may get back together…and then they may break up again. All this according to both People magazine and People with common sense.

“It changes every five seconds,” a friend of Lohan’s tells PEOPLE. “It is up in the air with them. You never know”
The friend, who spoke to Lohan this week, says, “She’s in pain and she’s alone and feels like the world is against her. She doesn’t live an easy life. She has always been in the spotlight. She doesn’t know how to live without it but it would be nice if she did for a little.”
Lohan’s father Michael Lohan, 48, tells PEOPLE his daughter is coping with the breakup by spending time with her mother and sister in Los Angeles. “Dina and Ali are out there with her,” says Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan has officially confirmed that she is “taking a brief break” from girlfriend Samantha Ronson, after reports on the weekend that the couple’s relationship was over.

In an email to E! News, Lohan confirms rumors of a break-up, saying the pair have parted ways “so I can focus on myself.”

According to E!, the actress says the decision was made on Monday morning (April 6), after she was denied entry to a party held by the Ronson’s on Friday night and paparazzi caught a locksmith changing the locks at her girlfriend’s house over the weekend.

Ronson posted a message on her MySpace early Monday morning saying “aura in pleasanton is very pleasant,” and labeled her mood as “Happy”.
