CODA; in some pieces of music a final section that adds dramatic energy to the work as a whole.

RAY; a narrow beam of light from the sun.

A little history…

Coda Ray was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.

At eight years old Coda took first place in a National Talent contest. This was the turning point of her life, music became Coda’s passion and she never looked back.

“Coda touches your heart with her voice ”said Viktoria Gustavsson from OKEJ Magazine in Sweden.

Coda not yet finding her place in the entertainment world studied voice, dance, piano and songwriting. Influenced by Sweden’s home grown ABBA, Max Martin and Murlyn Music she pursued songwriting and wrote songs with Leif Larson (Faith Hill) and Stargate.

Then the pop music producer/songwriter revolution was launched from her hometown, Stockholm. Britney Spears, Madonna, N’sync (Justin Timberlake) and Backstreet Boys captured the attention of the world.

Coda knew that music was her destiny and wanted a little more than just the pop influence.

After high school Coda landed on a tarmac of JFK airport NYC, where she now resides pursuing her dream. She attended New School University studying songwriting, vocal performance and voice trained under world renowned Dr William Riley of Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Usher, Monica fame and Don Lawrence of Whitney Houston, Mick Jagger, Jon Bon Jovi and Christina Aguilera, fame.

Dr William Riley “Coda has a unique, sultry intoxicating voice, an amazing range while maintaining her beautiful tone”.

Coda began singing in New York nightclubs where she met Nat Robinson, First Priority Music, CEO, her mentor and advisor. Robinson impressed by Coda Ray introduced her to a team of arrangers, professional studios and engineers to work along with Coda’s team of co-writers and producers, William Weaver, Tara Jones, and Jmusiz.

Her first sets of songs are now completed.

Coda Ray “Music is my life and it soothe the soul, without it I don’t exist”.

The attached ‘Greatest Gainer’ label was an obvious understatement, as the album debuted last week at a very modest #156.Only time will tell as to how Radiohead’s monumental success with both a self-release and a standard issue will come to effect the much-maligned record industry.Meanwhile Alicia Keys took #2 on both the singles and album charts for the second straight week with “As I Am,” while Mary J. Blige’s “Growing Pains” showed first signs of adolescent regression, falling from the top spot to #3 in it’s third week.”Juno”’s wave of critical acclaim landed the film’s soundtrack, featuring an organic mix of classic and indie Rock, at the #8 spot in its debut week, which was also worthy of Billboard’s ‘Hot Shot’ distincti
