Miley dished to the new issue of Tiger Beat what makes her just a ‘normal girl’: ‘I love junk food. I allow myself to eat it pretty often. My family and I love this place called Yogurt Tree. I usually get fruit and jelly beans. My yogurt will start healthy then I cancel it out.’

Miley doesn’t blow her Hannah Montana money on clothes: ‘I am the most frugal person. I think Forever 21 and Wal-Mart have cute stuff.’ She still gets disciplined by her parents! ‘I got grounded for yelling at my mom about school. I wrote a song, ‘I’m about to get grounded right?’ and gave it to my mom. It made everything better.’

Justin Bieber on Miley Cyrus: Not My Type!

Their nickname would have just rolled off the tongue: Jiley. They could have gone on tour together, trading off opening acts at each stop, joining each other on stage for duets that would have left the crowd in tears of joy.

Alas, there will be no coupling up between the two hottest singers under the age of 18 because Justin Bieber was asked by radio station Z100 about Miley Cyrus this week and responded:

“Nooooooo, not my type.”

We always knew we liked this Bieber guy!

Nickelodeon has announced their nominees for the Kids’ Choice Awards, and one has to wonder how happy they are to see so many nominations go to Disney Channel celebrities. “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus has four, the Jonas Brothers collectively have three, and Selena Gomez also gets a nod.

Another unsurprising nomination went to Taylor Swift, who has taken just about every awards show by storm over the course of the past year. One still has to wonder about some of the show’s other nominees, though, which include the ever-so-controversial Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” (Somebody still watches that show?)

Do you think Miley Cyrus deserves to be recognized so much by children? Check out the full list of nominations here and let me know your thoughts with a comment.

The energy was electric Monday night at Henson Studios as more than 80 of music’s biggest stars gathered for a charity remake of “We Are the World” in support of Haitian earthquake relief.”I feel like a kid in a candy store,” Wyclef Jean said, speaking to the press about the idea of remaking such an iconic song, which is getting production help from RedOne and Will.I.Am. “What’s bigger than a contribution is that you lend your voice,” the Haitian native said earlier in the day to his peers while trying to inspire them during the session, which began around 3 p.m. and lasted well into the night.

When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
and its time to lend a hand to life
There greatest gift of all

We can’t go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of Gods great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
Theres a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
it’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me

Send them your heart so they’ll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
Theres a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
its true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me

When you’re down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe theres no way we can fall
Let us realize that a change can only come
When we stand together as one

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
Theres a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
its true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me

Miley Cyrus has got her good on and she wants you to Get UR Good On, too. Miley, star of Disney Channel’s wildly popular Hannah Montana and top-selling pop singer, has long been involved with charitable causes, and she helped create Get UR Good On in order encourage and inspire people to do something — anything, really — for others, be it going green at school or leading bingo night at the local senior center, writing letters to our troops overseas or mentoring a younger child.

Right now, Miley’s sights are set on providing hope, supplies, and money to the survivors in earthquake-ravaged Haiti as they attempt to recover and rebuild. To that end she’s already participated in the celebrity-studded recording of “We Are the World,” with Usher, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Lil Wayne, Toni Braxton, and more, and also the Simon Cowell-produced cover of R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts,” joining Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, Bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue, Michael Buble, and Robbie Williams, among others. And on February 8, Miley kicked off an auction to benefit the Red Cross and their efforts in Haiti.
