Megan Fox will host Saturday Night Live’s premiere next month.
“Megan is psyched to have gotten this opportunity,” an insider told Life & Style. “She has a lot of surprises in store for the audience. This is the perfect opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills, as she’s launching her new movie Jennifer’s Body.”
Megan Fox has been lined up to play a Bond girl - but she’s already turned down the role.
The Transformers star is said to have been sounded out by Bond bosses for a forthcoming 007 movie in which she would have starred opposite Daniel Craig as one of his conquests.
“Megan might be interested in a villainous role if it was a central part of the movie but she is not interested in being just your usual type of Bond girl,” reveals a source close to the actress. “She did consider an approach but she won’t be doing Bond while she’s so busy with other projects. She might consider it again in a few years time.”
Fox, 23, recently denied claims she’s set to replace Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider movie franchise.
“That’s a complete rumor,” Fox said, referring to reports she was set to play Lara Croft. “I haven’t been offered that. No one has even spoken to me about doing that yet.
“I think that’s a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her.”
Fox blasted the “Transformers” director for relying on special effects rather than acting in the two “Transformers” films in an interview with “Entertainment Weekly.” But Bay is unimpressed.
“She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old, and she still has a lot of growing up to do,” the 44-year-old Bay told the Wall Street Journal. “You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want.’”
But is Fox biting the hand that feeds her? In addition to “Transformers” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” Bay’s directing credits include “Armageddon,” “Pearl Harbor” and “The Rock.”
“Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in ‘Transformers,’” said Bay, citing Nicolas Cage, Will Smith and Ben Affleck as other actors who have shot to stardom after starring in his films. “I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”
Megan Fox says She ”owes her career” to ‘Transformers’. Obviously Fox will be reprising her role as Mikaela Bannes in the third film of the Transformers. And if there’s going to be a fourth one and so forth, chances are we can count Megan in. Let’s hope so anyway.
