Carey’s Friends feel quite strongly that her marriage to Nick Cannon will not last more than six months! They believe that Nick, who now dotes on his wife, will soon not be able to cope with her diva lifestyle, needs and demands.

“Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to. He’s like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself,” said a friend of Mariah’s. “Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself,” the pal added.

Nick’s friends however vehemently deny that Nick is having a rough time and add that the two are perfect for each other.

Mariah Carey has said she doesn’t “have birthdays” and claimed that she still feels like a 12-year-old.

The singer insisted that she has the innocence of a young child, revealing that she has anniversaries rather than birthday celebrations.

She told Parade: “I’m eternally 12. And that 12-year-old inside me is an eternal optimist.

“I know what it feels like not to have fame or money, and I do still feel like that same person in many ways.

“Honestly, I don’t even have birthdays. I call them ‘anniversaries’. It really is about being as young as you feel.”

Carey added: “I will still always choose a day at Disney World over a night in Las Vegas, because that’s who I am.”

Pop diva Mariah Carey will be filling in on ‘SNL’ for Janet Jackson, who is sick with the flu. Jackson, 41, was scheduled to perform one of the singles off her newly released album, “Discipline.”

NBC announced Wednesday that Carey, 37, will be filling in for Jackson’s scheduled performance in New York on March 15.

Jackson’s publicist, Patti Webster, released a statement on Tuesday saying Jackson dropped out because she has the flu and “needs some time to get better.”

This will be Carey’s first appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in over 10 years. Carey has a new album out on April 15 called E=MC2.
