Kendra Wilkinson has welcomed a babe of her own into the world, and in typical reality star fashion, a camera crew was there to capture the moment.

Hank Baskett IV was born via c-section Friday morning in Indianapolis and weighed 9 lbs 5 oz, Usmagazine.com reports.

“Mother and baby are doing well,” a source told the magazine. “Kendra and Hank are very happy.”

This is the former Playboy bunny’s first child with her husband, Indianapolis Colts player Hank Baskett.

According to Wilkinson, E! filmed the birth, though the footage will allegedly be G-rated.


“They’ll get the moment of me holding the baby, but not coming out,” she told Us Weekly. “No way. Uh-uh. Nooo!”

Wilkinson, 24, wed Baskett, 27, at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion in a much-publicized ceremony in July. The duo recently moved from New Jersey to Carmel, Indianapolis, when Baskett got signed by the Colts.

A month prior to their nuptials, the duo, who star on the E! reality show “Kendra,” announced they were expecting.

Though the bubbly Wilkinson was excited by the pregnancy (and the McDonald’s cheeseburgers and baked goods in which she indulged), she revealed to Us Weekly that it was not planned.

“We always hinted to each other that we wouldn’t mind having kids soon,” she said. “We weren’t trying, but we didn’t use a condom that night.”

The good natured Wilkinson was candid about her difficult pregnancy, saying that she was highly emotional and cried “over everything.” The highly active reality star also lamented being unable to do much physical activity because of the back pain she suffered.

The former “Girls Next Door” star also revealed that she gained “50-something pounds) and that her famous curves filled out even more.

“I went from a size small sports bra to a size large sports bra,” she told Us. “These things just won’t stop growing!”

Wilkinson did not keep it a secret that she was looking forward to motherhood. On Dec. 2, she tweeted:

“i cant believe im having my baby in a couple days. im sooo excited i cant stand it! hope u guys r havin a good wed.. mmmwah! ”

The new mother revealed to Us that she wants her family to know her commitment is full.

“I want to make sure that my boy knows I’m there every step of the way,” she told Us. “I will be putting 100 percent of my love and time into my child.”

“Finally, in my life, I feel needed, like my baby needs me. I’m very attached and bonded.”

In November, Wilkinson and Baskett appeared in Us Weekly, showing off their baby’s nursery. The duo bought cherry-wood furniture from Bellini and planned to add a jungle theme mural to the room.

Wilkinson also revealed that the couple plans to “pimp [the baby] out” in Nike clothes, care of Baskett’s contract with the sportswear company.

“I just can’t wait for the baby to pee in Hank’s face!” she told Us.

Wilkinson and Baskett just found out yesterday they were having a son.

“We were at the doctor’s, and he said, ‘You wanna know now?’ ” Kendra said. “So we looked, and we saw his little penis!”

The couple had already picked out their name for a boy quite some time ago. “Yup, he’s going to be Hank Baskett IV,” Kendra revealed.

Wilkinson also said they had a little medical scare, when the doctor though he detected an abnormal heartbeat.

“We were there yesterday, and he said the baby had an abnormal heart beat, so we had to come back for more tests,” Kendra said. “I didn’t sleep all night. But the doctor said today that our baby is perfect, that nothing is wrong!”

Wilkinson said they have already placed an order for Philadelphia Eagle jerseys for the little guy.

“I’m going to be a hands-on mom,” she said. “I am going to be at every soccer game, football game, PTA meeting…everything!”

Kendra said Hank Baskett is thrilled to be having a son and tells everyone.

“Our movers were here today, and they didn’t speak a lot of English, but Hank walked into the house and kept saying to them, ‘We’re having a boy. We’re having a boy!’ “

Kendra recently moved to the East Coast to be with Baskett for the football season. “I even found a salon I like out here,” she said. “I just chopped my hair to my shoulders. It’s my mommy haircut.”

The lives of Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson have significantly changed ever since they moved into the Playboy mansion and became Hugh Hefner’s official playmates.  For several years, they have experienced the lavish perks of the extravagant manor, enjoyed wild adventures and kinky parties, as they rocket into stardom on their reality series The Girls Next Door. But as much as they want to all live happily ever after together, they must also face the inevitable changes that are bound to happen some time in the future.

No one really knows what lies ahead for these girls but part of the direction they are heading is considerably anchored in the fate of The Girls Next Door.  The E! series that focuses on the lives of the girls and the various events inside the Playboy mansion has been a successful launch for the network and continues to be a hit in the ratings with its current fourth season.  However, speculations of the program’s looming ending have started to surface when the girls hinted on their individual plans after its fifth season run.

“We’re currently negotiating for season five right now, which they want to start filming in March.  After that, I’m kind of ready to go do some spin-offs or something.  I kind of want to host a show, maybe like a makeover-style show, like Playboy makeovers,” Marquardt told OK! magazine.

As for the rest of the beauties, Madison wants to do a spin-off about the Playboy studio where she works, while Wilkinson want to open her own gym.

Relationship adjustments are also in the cards for these girls if and when Hefner sets a date to marry his number girlfriend Madison.  While Wilkinson certainly approves of Hefner and Madison’s relationship and the possibility of their marriage, she’s a little bit puzzled on Hefner and the girls’ current setup.

“We all love Hef and everything, but we realize that things are starting to become more Hef and Holly.  I’ll be honest…it’s kind of confusing to me how it’s becoming more of Holly and Hef.  We’re still here, we’re still still part of Playboy and Girls Next Door.  But in a way I don’t get it right now.  I’m kind of confused with the way things are right now, and where we stand,” Wilkinson revealed to OK! magazine.
