Britney Spears’ 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn, star of Nickelodeon’s popular TV show “Zoey 101,” has given birth to a baby girl, People magazine reported on Thursday.

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to Maddie Briann on Thursday morning at a hospital in Mississippi, the magazine said.

A high school student who lives in Louisiana, Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly met the father, Casey Aldridge, the son of a Tennessee paper mill worker, at church. The couple are engaged, People magazine said.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ personal publicist was not immediately available for comment.

“ATV-ing is a way of life out here,” a neighbor tells Life & Style.  “But it’s a bumpy ride.”  Ob-gyn Dr. Valerie Ratts, who does not treat the actress tells the weekly entertainment magazine that it’s a bad idea.  “It’s very dangerous for a woman in her third trimester to be riding a ATV,” she tells Life & Style.  “You put both lives at risk.”

And the magazine reports that the baby blues continue for the expectant mother.  The report claims that the teen has gone out at night, causing friends and family to wonder if she might succumb to temptation.  “Her mom is worried that Jamie’s partying isn’t good for her,” says an insider, “or her child.”

‘It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again,’ Jamie admits.

‘We painted our nails and did stupid stuff, and we had our private time too.

‘To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful.’

The Zoey 101 star is due to give birth to fiancé Casey Aldridge’s baby this summer.

‘Britney loves Casey,’ she says, ‘She’s met him a bunch of times. They were riding 4-wheelers and stuff together. They got along really well.’

Britney Spears father Jamie has quit his job as a caterer to dedicate himself full-time to overseeing his daughter’s business affairs.

Jamie Spears was appointed conservator of the star’s legal and financial affairs in February and is in charge of her estate, with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet, until July 31.

And now, according to court papers, the pop star’s father has taken on a full-time position as conservator, being awarded a $2,500 weekly salary for the role.

Spears was also awarded a $10,000 lump-sum to cover the first month of his co-conservatorship over his daughter’s estate, according to People.com.

The court documents also give the reason why he needs to quit his job as a caterer, with the papers stating the responsibilities of conservator “have required (his) full-time attention.”

There will be a further court hearing on May 29 to discuss monetary matters in greater detail.

And it seems Spears’ role over-looking the singer’s affairs is paying off — since he was appointed conservator in February, the 26-year-old has secured expanded visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

A Los Angeles court has ordered popstar Britney Spears to pay nearly 400000 dollars in legal fees to the numerous lawyers who have represented her over the last little while.

Currently her father has total charge of her affairs until July 31.

Samuel Ingham, Spears’ current lawyer will also continue receiving 10000 dollars a week from Spears.

Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of Spears’s finances, will receive an advance of 100000 dollars.

Also the firm responsible for winning Jamie Spears control of his daughter’s affairs will also be granted 175000 dollars from Spears.
