Sam Lutfi is learning a hard lesson:
You do not f*%k with the conservatorship!
The former enabler and quote-unquote manager of Britney Spears has been battling her legal team since being banished from her life – and losing, hard.
First, he was slapped with a three-year restraining order last month. Now, his wallet may be taking a hit next as Britney’s attorneys go for the jugular.
Lawyers for the singer asked a Los Angeles court Friday to order Sam Lutfi to pay $123,142 to cover her legal fees for the restraining order battle.

WHAT A LEECH: Sam Lutfi stayed close to his meal ticket before her father and his team of high-powered attorneys made sure he legally couldn’t any longer.
In addition, her lawyers are seeking $129,922 from Jon Eardley, an attorney who has challenged Jamie Spears’ control over his daughter. Eardley claimed Britney contacted him first, which Lutfi also maintained in his restraining order case.
The attorneys want another $72,292 from her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, too. Both Eardley and Ghalib were also ordered to stay away from the pop star.
A judge has yet to sign off on the request, but we suspect it will happen soon. You do not mess with the Bank of Britney Spears and its team of lawyers.

Britney Spears walks out of show due to smoke

Britney Spears’s recent stunt at the GM Place in Vancouver should be taken as a pitch for the anti-smoking campaign. Britney Spears walked out of the stage right after she started her Circus Show. She was dressed in a ringleader costume with matching whip but when she removed the jacket she was clad only in a sparkling bra with bare midriff. The fans started to go wild and chanted “Britney! Britney” when the stage went dark. After a while it was announced that the performance will resume after the air clears since it is no longer comfortable and safe for the performers.

After a lot of booing and howling for 30 minutes Britney Spears appeared and sang “If U Seek Amy” as well as “Me Against the Music”. Britney closed the Circus show with “Womanizer” but not before telling the Vancouver crowd to stop smoking weed. That proved to be a very high profile campaign pitch not only against smoking but against smoking weed. Way to go Britney Spears!

Fred Durst on Britney Spears

Has-been rocker Fred Durst is trying to drum up press for “The Education of Charlie Banks,” the film he directed which opens next week. Nobody wants to hear about his band Limp Dicket, or whatever they’re called, so he has to fall back on dragging up old news from back when he was still famous.

Back in 2003, Durst was asked to submit songs for Britney Spears’ next album. The always media hungry rocker used this opportunity to tell the world that he and the pop star were having a passionate affair. Problem was, Spears went on “TRL” and claimed she barely knew Durst and they certainly weren’t romantically involved.

The fauxffair was forgotten by practically everyone until Durst had something to promote, so now he’s on MTC News rehashing the whole thing—from his point of view, of course.

“It just became a fiasco of madness, [but] I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar.

“I look back on it as very interesting [in terms of] how things have been sort of unraveling for her since, [but] it is what it is. I can sleep at night knowing I made decisions that I wanted to make. [Still], I’m a supporter. I was then, I guess I am now.

“Her own decisions and different things in her life, people can judge her all they want, but she has an extreme presence and when she’s giving it, it’s really good. I don’t think you can really write her off and I just think it’d be silly for people to think that they could. Everything kind of works in cycles and I think she’s an example of how those things work.”

Yeah, those things work. She has a hit album and a major tour and you have an indie film that will probably tank.

“My Life Would Suck Without You,” will break records on Thursday when it makes the largest leap to No. 1 in the Billboard chart’s 50-year history.

The song moves to No. 1 from No. 97 on the Hot 100 chart after selling 280,000 digital downloads in its first week out, according to Billboard.com.

Clarkson, 26, has set the record once before: Her 2002 single “A Moment Like This” – the American Idol Season 1 victory track – jumped from No. 52 to No. 1 in a single week.

Britney Spears Lands $14 Million Autobiography Deal

Britney Spears is officially going to make me a hypocrite. I always poke fun at celebs who have their life story told at such an early age because they haven’t even experienced half of their time here on Earth. Well, Britney’s story is one I would want to read. I mean, she’s been through so much… stuff despite the fact that the singer hasn’t hit 30.

The Daily Mirror is reporting tha the Toxic singer is about to sign a $14 million publishing deal!

“There have been numerous unofficial autobiographies about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome until now.

“And some of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. She’s kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to. If the deal goes ahead she will write three and five books throughout the next decade - it’s one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history.”

I’m not saying I’m going to recommend the read to my book club, but if I happen to be walking around Barnes and Nobles with the kids, I might leaf through the book while they are enjoying story time. :)
