It looks like Britney Spears’ alleged romance with British paparazzo Adnan Ghalib maybe over

It looks like Britney Spears’ alleged romance with British paparazzo Adnan Ghalib maybe over, after the singer’s assistant, Sam Lufti revealed a copy of a restraining order Britney has issued against Ghalib.

Celebrity photo agency X17 - claim that the troubled pop princess invited a group of their photographers into her Beverly Hills home at 2am - where they “chatted for a while, then escorted Brit and Sam in the car, so Britney could drive around and listen to music. After that, it was back to the house.”

Apparently, Brit told them “Come with me, let’s have fun” - she then opened a bottle of champagne and went outside on the patio to smoke cigarettes. X17’s photographers claim Brit Brit downed a 1/2 glass of champagne the entire evening and never drank more.

A source inside the house said: “We had fun. Britney was funny, very relaxed, dancing a little bit, and she carried her little dog all the time.”

And then, at one point, Britney’s closest confident, Sam Lufti, took a paper out of his pocket - it was a restraining order against Adnan Ghalib. He reportedly said, “Look at this!”

X17 reports that Britney Spears “expressed disappointment and anger toward Adnan for being ’set-up’ in photographs that Adnan and his agency, Finalpixx, have sold of Britney and Adnan together.”

According to PageSix.com, it isn’t the first time a woman has filed a restraining order against the pap.

But a source at the LAPD said that no restraining order has been officially filed, but that doesn’t mean the Toxic singer hasn’t started the paperwork

Photos Appear to Show Britney Spears Shopping for Pregnancy Test

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 - No Comments »

britney spears knocked up dumb ass is pregnant The photos purportedly show Spears, 26, and her 35-year-old photographer boyfriend Adnan Ghalib at the Studio City store together, and Spears scanning the shelves of pregnancy tests. (The photos were released by Ghalib’s own photo agency, FinalPixx, and posted on People magazine’s Web site.)The former princess of pop stirs up controversy wherever she goes lately. On Sunday, Spears grabbed dresses from the racks at the Betsey Johnson store at Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks and disappeared into a dressing room with Ghalib, Life and Style magazine reportedMoments later, she came out completely naked.

“I was blown away. Britney’s private parts were right in front of me!” a store employee told Life & Style. “I grabbed a dress to cover her, and she screamed, ‘Get away from me! Don’t you [bleep]ing come near me!’ … Then she disappeared in the dressing room with Adnan for 45 minutes. They were making weird noises. It was disgusting.”

When Britney and Adnan emerged, “I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. She was slurring and spitting and talking with a British accent,” said the employee. “Her face was covered with cold sores and acne, and her scalp was patchy. I wanted to help her, but she was so mean that I left her alone. Then she muttered, ‘[bleep] you!’ and left the store.”

A Superior Court commissioner decided Monday to keep in effect an earlier order suspending Spears’ right to visit her two sons and keeping them in Federline’s custody.

The ruling by Commissioner Scott Gordon came after a full day of testimony on a bizarre incident earlier this month in which police had Spears taken to a hospital after a standoff in her home when she refused to return the children to Federline’s bodyguard after a visit.

Gordon scheduled another hearing for Feb. 19.

Did Britney Write a Suicide Note?

Friend Close to Spears Tells In Touch Magazine that the Star Recently Wrote a Suicide Note

Britney Spears’ divorce, child custody battle and bizarre breakdowns appear to have taken a greater toll on her than most people know.

According to In Touch Weekly, days before her Jan. 3 breakdown, Spears left a suicide note on her bathroom counter that was allegedly found by friend Sam Lutfi.

“The letter was very [sad],” a friend close to Spears told In Touch. “It was filled with reasons why she shouldn’t live, included lines from poems about death. She said in it she was sorry for never making her life what everyone else wanted. She mentioned how lonely and unfair life could be, how peaceful death seems and how your mind would finally be at ease … She went on and on about wanting to just rest in peace.”

Things are not looking up for Spears. Because she failed to show up to a child custody hearing Monday, choosing instead to go out to lunch and church, she remains unable to see her two sons.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon decided to keep in effect an order suspending Spears’ right to visit Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. The boys will remain in the custody of Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Another hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 19.

A slew of people testified at Monday’s family court hearing, many of whom saw Spears’ bizarre Jan. 3 breakdown.

Court spokesman Allan Parachini said those who testified included two Los Angeles police officers; Paula Strong, the court-appointed monitor who was present for the visit at Spears’ home; Lisa Hacker, a parenting coach who has been working with Spears and Federline; and Lonnie Jones, the bodyguard who went to the home to get the children Jan. 3.

According to celebrity news service TMZ.com, the witnesses “presented a deeply disturbed picture of Spears” that led the court commissioner to believe that mental health is the root of Spears’ problems, not substance abuse.

Outside the courthouse after the hearing, Federline’s attorney said that while his client felt the ruling was correct, he wants Spears to be a part of his sons’ lives.

“The word victory is not something Mr. Federline or his counsel would ascribe to this. There is no joy. This is a grave situation for all,” Mark Vincent Kaplan said, adding, “his goal, his hope for the future is at some point he will be able to parent the children with the participation of their mother.”

Pressure’s On to Play the Part of a Good Parent

Spears hasn’t had a good history of showing up to hearings in recent weeks. Dec. 12, she called in sick for a court-ordered deposition, then arrived nearly two hours late on its rescheduled date, Jan. 3.

Spears arrived more than three hours late to Monday’s hearing. She briefly pulled up to the L.A. courthouse in a black sport utility vehicle and got out of the car, but never went inside. She drove off moments later surrounded by a swarm of paparazzi.

Now more than ever, pressure is on for Spears to own up to her parental responsibilities. Jan. 3, police were summoned to the pop star’s home during a meltdown in which she refused to hand over Sean Preston and Jayden James to Federline’s security guard and locked herself in a bathroom with one of the boys.

She surrendered custody after a three-hour-long standoff with cops and was subsequently taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she stayed for two nights. Various reports allege Spears was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The day after the incident, Kaplan presented papers to Gordon, who awarded sole legal and physical custody of the boys to Federline and suspended Spears’ visitation rights.

Since checking out of the hospital, Spears has been seen around Los Angeles with photographer and potential new boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. The two reportedly hit up West Hollywood’s Westfield Mall for a shopping spree the day before her scheduled court hearing.

Britney Spears can’t see kids

A judge on Monday refused to restore Britney Spears’ right to visit her two sons, a court spokesman said, after the troubled pop star showed up outside court but never made it into the hearing.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon left in place a ruling that barred Spears from visiting with her young sons at least until another hearing on February 19, lawyers for her ex-husband Kevin Federline said outside court.

Gordon issued the original order earlier this month, after police were summoned to the troubled pop star’s home when she became distraught and refused to return the boys to Federline’s representatives.

Spears, 26, was taken away on a stretcher and hospitalized for two days.

She arrived hours late for Monday’s hearing and was mobbed by photographers as she stepped out of a sport utility vehicle outside the downtown Los Angeles courthouse.

But instead of heading into the building where the hearing was under way with Federline in the courtroom, Spears climbed quickly back in the car and drove off again.

“Move back, I’m scared. Stop it. Stop it. I want to get back in the car. Just stop it. Let me get in the car, please!” Spears shouted at photographers, according to the celebrity Web site TMZ.com.

It was the latest in a series of strange episodes involving Spears since she divorced Federline in late 2006. She lost custody of their two sons, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston, last year.

The incident in early January that led to Spears’ hospitalization prompted Gordon to suspend her visitation rights with the children until Monday’s hearing — which legal experts considered critical for Spears to attend.

She did not show up for a morning session, and made her brief appearance outside the courthouse after a noon break.

The hearing was closed to the press and public, but Federline, his hair styled into a Mohawk, was seen coming and going.

His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said outside court that Federline’s wish was “that he could one day parent both of these children with the mother.”

He said Spears was not required to attend the hearing and her brief appearance outside court did not affect the ruling by the judge, who took testimony from five witnesses.

Spears became a teen pop phenomenon nine years ago, and enjoyed a brief comeback in October with her new single, “Gimme More” and an album, “Blackout,” which briefly hit No. 2 on U.S. pop album charts before falling off.

Britney Spears Turns Up For Child-Custody Hearing

After playing a waiting game all morning, Britney Spears showed up at court on Monday (January 14) for the afternoon session to try to regain visitation rights with her two young sons — only to leave just minutes later. The reason for her departure was unclear at press time. The singer was expected to explain what happened during a custody standoff on January 3, which ended when she was taken away by ambulance.

Kevin Federline, sporting a mohawk and a navy-blue suit, attended the morning session, in which a male Los Angeles police officer — one of the emergency respondents on the scene the night of January 3 — testified under direct examination but is yet to be cross-examined. Up to eight other witnesses from that night are expected to testify as well, according to a spokesperson for the court.

Federline gained temporary sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James after an emergency hearing two weeks ago, after Spears was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai and placed on an involuntary hold. If Spears were to regain visitation rights, legal experts said it would likely be at a place outside her home, where she would be monitored.

Members of the media were ejected from Monday’s proceedings after the judge granted a motion to clear the court. Gordon also granted one other motion to quash a subpoena, but there was no word who the subpoena had been issued to or what it involved.

Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan had issued a series of subpoenas for depositions from several former Spears associates, including manager Larry Rudolph, assistant Alli Sims and bodyguard Daimon Shippen. According to the last court documents filed about the matter, three more people were scheduled to be deposed throughout January, including former Spears bodyguard Anthony Barretto, former bodyguard Lonni Jones and former day-to-day manager Adam Leber.

Spears’ lawyers from the firm Trope & Trope — Sorrell Trope, Anne Kiley and Tara Scott — all continued to represent her on Monday despite their pending motion to be removed as her legal counsel. A hearing about that matter is scheduled for February 4
