Britney Spears’ boyfriend is reportedly not a fan of her music.

Jason Trawick, who is also the pop singer’s agent, allegedly let slip at Paris Hilton’s recent birthday bash that he “hates” her hit single Toxic, according to reports.

A source said: ‘Jason… was definitely enjoying himself until DJ Mr Best threw on Britney Spears’ song Toxic.


“When the song came on, the first thing out of Jason’s mouth was, ‘Oh my God, I hate this song!’”

The source added: “His friends all laughed and continued to talk, but he interrupted them by saying, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t hear what you’re saying over her voice’. He wasn’t laughing.’

The pair have been dating since early last year, but were plagued by break-up rumours during the Circus star’s ill-fated Aussie tour last November, after Trawick reportedly rejected her proposal of marriage, according to reports.

Meanwhile, an inside source has revealed that Spears’ father, Jamie, has been pushing the relationship due to Trawick’s ‘good influence’ on his daughter.

Reports that Britney Spears’ agent-boyfriend Jason Trawick left the country after rejecting her wedding proposal are “100 percent absolutely false,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “There was no proposal and they were never engaged.” When Trawick headed back to L.A. instead of spending the holidays with Spears, buzz surrounding the couple’s relationship went into high gear. But there is nothing to worry about. “Jason spent more time in Australia than originally planned,” says the source. “They are very happy.”

Over the weekend, OK! Magazine released its new cover story, claiming that Spears was engaged. “Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason,” a source close to the couple told OK!. “She has already discussed marriage with him, and they are both excited about a romantic wedding.”

A brand new single from Britney Spears will be released this October, according to BRITNEY. There is no word on the title of the track, but rumor suggests that this song will become the lead single from her upcoming greatest hits album The Singles.

“The Singles” reportedly has been pushed back from its original U.S. release date on October 27 to almost a month later in mid November. Without mentioning what is project she currently finishing, Britney recently tweeted about working with acclaimed producer Max Martin. She is also rumored hitting studio with producers Russ Castella and Fernando Garibay.

While waiting for the effort to arrive in the market, fans can catch Britney’s performances during the on-going North American leg of her “Circus Starring Britney Spears” tour. The pop singer will wrap up the gig at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 27. More detailed info about her forthcoming shows can be seen on her MySpace.
