Bow Wow gave his camp a scare Thursday night when the 20-year-old rapper had to be rushed to a Cincinnati hospital after his concert performance at the U.S. Bank Arena.

Bow is said to be doing well but is still in the hospital undergoing tests. His record company, Sony Music, said in a statement on Friday (December 7) that the young superstar appears to be suffering from “stress and exhaustion.”

Not only has Bow been one of the top-line acts on his current tour with Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Soulja Boy, Lil Mama and others, but he’s also been all over the world during the past few months promoting Face Off, his joint LP with Omarion, which drops Tuesday.

The tour hits Chicago on Friday night, but Bow will not be cleared to take the stage, according to Sony.

“He loves them and will be sure to come back to Chicago soon!” his company said of what Bow wants to express to fans.

Bow is expected to return to the tour very shortly, and as an added bonus, Omarion will be joining the tour on some select dates, which have yet to be announced. If you listen to the duo’s new LP, you can expect Bow and O to hit the road with a full show of their own in 2008. On the title track, Bow proclaims, “Rest in peace to the Scream Tour. It’s the Face Off tour next summer.”

Call it a pap smear.

Two paparazzi in hot pursuit of Britney Spears around Beverly Hills ended up getting into an accident on Monday that sent one one shutterbug to the hospital.

According to the Beverly Hills Police Department , the collision occurred at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Elm Drive, about a mile from the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel. One of the photographers, who was tracking the pop tart in a Range Rover, hung an illegal right turn into a fellow paparazzo riding a motorcycle.

The latter, described by TMZ as a celeb “spotter,” was knocked off his bike. He sustained cuts to his arms and legs, police said.

The man was transported to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was treated and discharged late Monday.

Police declined to identify either of the photogs, and no citations have been issued. “There was no evidence of DUI or any evidence of criminal intent on either party,” the Beverly Hills PD said in a statement.

The “Toxic” singer was not involved in the incident, and the rest of the paparazzi continued chasing her to her next destination.

Ironically, just last week, paparazzi cameras caught the performer apparently making an illegal left turn and running a red light with her two sons and a court-appointed monitor in the car.

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is reviewing photographs and video of Spears’ maneuver and could be in court Wednesday seeking to further restrict her custody rights for two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.

As it stands, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon is expected to issue a ruling on Nov. 26 about whether the 25-year-old popster will be allowed to drive her kids around.

Spears, who only recently obtained a valid California driver’s license at Gordon’s behest, has a history of motoring mishaps.

She was slapped with a misdemeanor count of hit-and-run after dinging another vehicle in a parking lot in August. The charge was subsequently dismissed after she reached a cash settlement with the car’s owner—Spears paid about $1,000 to cover the fender-bender.

Since then, Spears has run over the feet of two paparazzi, incidents that were captured on video. However, the injured shutterbugs (who make their living off the performer, who routinely tips them off to her whereabouts) declined to press charges.

Meanwhile, the LAPD is still investigating an incident last month in which Spears allegedly ran over the foot of a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy while fleeing the courthouse. No charges have currently been filed.

A source connected to Britney Spears tells TMZ that one of Brit’s drug tests has come back positive, but the source claims she actually passed. The source maintains it was a false reading.

Meanwhile, K-Fed’s lawyer has contacted TMZ, telling us he will subpoena a story we aired about Britney running a red light. Kaplan wants the tape for an unscheduled court appearance on Wednesday.

The story, which ran Friday on TMZ TV, shows Britney — her kids in the backseat and the court-appointed monitor in the front — blowing a red light at an extremely dangerous intersection Thursday night on her way home. A close look at the video shows that she held her cell phone up to her face just seconds before running the light — it appears she’s texting.

Kaplan has already asked the judge to prohibit Spears from driving with the kids in the car. Commissioner Scott Gordon is set to rule on that motion on November 26. The latest development could accelerate that decision. The Commish has been troubled by Spears’ driving — the incident Thursday night could jeopardize her visitation.
