nirvana, radiohead, the beatles, soundgarden, foo fighters, the pixies, velvet underground, jimi hendrix, Alice in Chains, GnR, bob dylan, bob marley, scorpions, the rolling stones, sublime, led zepplin, kamelot, STP, ani defranco, miles davis, john mayer, red hot chilli peppers (of old), jeff buckley, tori amos, elvis, the vaselines... but who knows if we sound like all, any, or none of them?!? Mostly while being creative... pot and booze and girls and stuff, as well as social injustice, ignorance, and oppression...
Everyday Rebellion have been rocking local clubs since January of 2004 and are poised to contribute to Canada's Rock & Roll canon in the upcoming year with their debut full-length release. Comprised of well-trained and talented musicians, Everyday Rebellion has already drawn people from all walks of life to their music via pop-savvy melodies and fun, energetic performances. This band of long-time friends cranks out everything from frustrated & unadulterated rock, to stirring political anthems, to evocative, tongue-in-cheek love songs.
