New Jersey legislators are stepping up their war against “Jersey Shore” by investigating labor violations.
Sen. Joseph F. Vitale, the chairman of the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus, has requested that the state’s labor department begin looking into possible wage and labor violations that may have occurred during the show.
Additionally, New Jersey’s Star Ledger reports that Vitale has also requested an investigation into the tax status of The Shore Store, the cheesy apparel shop where the cast worked while shooting.
We think MTV, part of media giant Viacom, can take care of itself, but good ol’ Danny, their boss and landlord?
OK, so yeah, he allowed Mike to sell hot pants that said “I Heart The Situation.” That may not have added to the visual appeal of the boardwalk, but didn’t he balance that out by sending Angelina home?
