Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon has finally agreed to marry actor Jake Gyllenhall this Christmas.
Gyllenhaal reportedly told friends he had plans to wed Witherspoon in December this year after he was through filming his forthcoming adventure movie, “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time”, reports Contactmusic.com
“Jake is telling everyone they are getting married at Christmas. He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time,” a source on the movies Morocco set told British newspaper The Mail.
“When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes,” he added.
The Oscar winning actress had earlier been married to actor Ryan Phillipe with whom she has two children.
She met Gyllenhall on the sets of their thriller “Rendition” in 2006. Throughout 2007, there was constant speculation in the media regarding their affair, which they persistently denied.
However, it was only after the finalization of Witherspoons divorce in October 2007, Gyllenhaal and Witherspoon became more open with their relationship.
Witherspoon earned an Academy Award for her film “Walk The Line” in 2007.
