Italian mobile telephony operator Vodafone has launched Vodafone Friends, the new social networking platform that enables all Vodafone clients to communicate with friends, create their own personal space on which they can share photos and videos and update their blog directly from the mobile phone. The new service can be accessed both via the Wap interface from the Vodafone live! portal as well as via the internet by connecting to the site www.vodafonefriends.it. Users can make new friends by communicating with the more than 100,000 users registered, vote their preferred content and join the Vip Club. Vodafone Friends is realised in collaboration with Neo Network, the digital entertainment company of the Magnolia Group.
